AquaTT - Training & Technology Transfer (Ireland)

AquaTT, the European network for training and technology transfer in aquaculture, backs the industry with support services and participation in EU projects and programmes in the areas of education, training and technology transfer. AquaTT is a non-profit making organisation established in 1992 with all generated income used to support the sector. AquaTT's board of directors represents stakeholders from the third level sector and industry partners. Activities in the project will include assisting with an anti-fouling survey and dissemination of the project results. AquaTT has excellent links to the producers, researchers, policy makers and markets and are key facilitators of meetings and training events at the European level. In addition they have the infrastructure (eg. PISCES website) and networks to quickly and efficiently disseminate project results from the short to long term.
